Who Wants To Be A Trillionaire?

Hey everybody!  This post is actually something astonishing.  Hyperinflation.  This is when prices of good and services go up dramatically.  Case in point Zimbabwe.  In this country, their economy is well... look at the photos.

These are actual Zimbabwe currency.  The top one is 50 Trillion (yup TRILLION!!!) The middle one is a small 10 Trillion (still, lots of zeros!) and the bottom one is the big mamma, One Hundred Trillion!  These bills are from 2008 and the next year they started to use foreign currency.  Wow.

At this point, I am looking into how to get my money online.  I have a scanner at work, but I am not at work.  I will figure it out and show you the MONEY!!

 

Thai Money

At the time it was 30 Baht to one dollar.  At one point I changed over several hundred dollars resulting in MAJOR cash money!

I was just impressed with sooo much money that I fanned it out and took a picture of it. 

 

The guy on their bills is their King.  It turns out they really like their King. 

You see pictures of the guy all over the cities. 

I was even more impressed that they do a salute to the King before EACH movie.

What's up everyone!  So here is a blog about my MONEY!  Actually I have always been fascinated with money and started to make it a hobby.  I thought initially that I will get currency from each country I go to and make some wall art with it.  Then I realized that there were all kinds of interesting old money that is no longer circulated.  I found out that there quite a few bills that were very inexpensive but looked cool.  So now my official objective is to collect as many different currency bills as possible.  I was thinking of expanding this to scanning the actual money and writing about it. 

So here we go.  I will get crackin' with scanning!
